The Annual Parish Meeting will be held on Monday 21st June on the Green outside the church, starting at 7.00pm. The Parish Council budget for 2021/2022 is £45,185. The Precept was set at £27,000 at the Parish Council meeting on 11th November, 2020 This is £6,000 lower than the 2020/2021 budget. The Tax Base has reduced this year, from 850.31 to 839.52, but the cost for a Band D property has still been lowered by 17.13%. The details are shown in the documents below. [+ read more...] |

The Parish Council playgrounds have been risk assessed, minor repairs carried out, Covid-19 signage and hand sanitisers have been installed, and the playgrounds are now officially open. Wiltshire Council have made an order to alter the width of Footpath 6 over land at Eastcourt Road. The section of the path to be extinguished is a 21 metre by 3.3 metre section running from OS Grid Reference SU 2342 6131 to SU 2344 6131. The remaining footpath will retain a width of 4.7 metres at this section. We're pleased to announce that Miss Joyce Turner joins the Parish Council today as the new Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer. Joyce lives in Manningford Bruce and is a qualified accountant with considerable management experience. She is taking over from Graham Francis who is moving from the area.
